Re:       Daily 10BP to Main Campus Courier

Following-up on our discussions over the past few months during our monthly department administrators meeting, we would like to move ahead with providing a regular courier service for grant related documents. The Office of Grants and Contracts will be implementing a daily courier service starting May 25th. Any grant related documents going to or from 10BP and the Department Business Offices will be picked up and/or delivered between 2:30 and 4:00 PM at your designated site.  Any items for Grants & Contracts or Research Accounting that need to be picked up must be in your office’s designated spot no later than the time noted below:

There will of course be uncontrollable fluctuations in the pick-up times, but the times noted above are our best estimates for when the courier will be at these locations.  If for any reason a run will not be made on any certain day, the person identified above will be notified via e-mail by G&C.

Items delivered to G&C will be stamped and logged and then handed to the appropriate grant manager.

This service will be tested during the next few weeks to determine the level of activity and if the process is meeting our joint needs. Any changes or modifications to the process will be communicated to each of you.  Please communicate this information to all your staff and support the structure and intent of this process.

Thank you.
